Abstract: In this talk I will describe some joint work with Maxim Kontsevich on the study of pre-Calabi Yau categories. I will discuss the action of a PROP on the Hochschild invariants of such a category and explain how this notion and more familiar notions of Calabi-Yau objects relate to different dualizability conditions of 2d TQFTs. Time allowing I will present some motivating examples from symplectic geometry.
